1964. Exmouth opened its first Cantonese Restaurant – The Rice Bowl.
After the success of nearly three decades in Exmouth Town Centre the time had come for expansion. So in 1997 the decision was made to relocate to a larger, more vibrant premises, offering off road parking, gardens to enjoy in the summer months and space to entertain large parties.
With new premises, came a new name.
The objective was clear; inject into Noble House four cornerstones, décor, service, drinks and most of all quality produced food.
Noble House has since become the local neighbourhood bar, garden and restaurant in Exmouth. Offering an authentic cantonese menu, relaxed atmosphere, and an emphasis placed on personalised friendly service. Still family run, with the third generation now involved. 10 year old Cody can often be found chatting to regulars on Sunday Lunches about his morning rugby match with the mighty mini cockles and our daughter Candy helps out, front of house on weekends and school holidays… Social life permitting!
Cheekily, it was Candy & Cody who inspired the “kids free ice cream” deal.
Better still Noble House’s doors are open 6 nights a week 5.00pm.- 10.00pm (closed Mondays), and 11.00pm – 3.00pm Sunday for our Bottomless Prosecco & legendary Sunday Roast. The ever popular Noble House buffet is offered every Friday and Saturday evening from 6.30.
If you’re in the mood for a drink, you can also pop into Noble House to choose from our selection of wines, beers and spirits to enjoy either in the bar or the garden. Visit us for Wine Wednesdays or Thirsty Thursdays and you’ll also be able to enjoy wine at retail price in Noble House while you dine.
Welcome to the neighbourhood; we can’t wait to see you soon!
